PURPOSE:To allow a conveying rod of the above device in a transfer machine or the like to stop at any desired position by providing a cylinder-driven slider for vertically moving the conveying rod through an arm and an opposite cylinder for controlling the advanced position of the slider. CONSTITUTION:When a slider 5 is retracted by a cylinder 3, an arm 11 engaged between guides 6a, 6b of the slider 5 swings counterclockwise around a shaft 12. This causes a conveying rod 15 to ascend. When the slider 5 is advanced by the cylinder 3, the arm 11 swings clockwise to drive the conveying rod 15 in the descending direction. At this time, the protruding length of a piston rod 2a of a cylinder 2 is adjusted to select an abutting position between the slider 5 and a push metal 8, so that the stop position of the conveying rod 15 can be set at any desired position between the ascent position to the descent position. This construction allows accurate stop at any desired position. |
