PURPOSE:To eliminate a display flickering relay at each extension and also to decrease the capacity of a power supply by transmitting simultaneously a message waiting signal to plural subscribers and awaiting the signal when the number of signals reach a prescribed number. CONSTITUTION:When the display of a message waiting display device MWL associated with a telephone set TEL is required, the display is requested from an attendant board or the like. The request is received by an exchange control device CONT and the intermitting operation of the relay MW of a waiting signal transmission control circuit MWC is started. When the display is fed already to other telephone set in this case, it is confirmed that the intermission of the relay MW is conducted only. When the displays of a maximum number transmitted by the capacity of a power supply +90V are displayed already, the said number is registered in a prepared waiting table and the processing is completed. |
