PURPOSE:To enable the easy preparation of ice-cream, by using a freezer composed of an inner vessel for receiving the ice-cream mixture and furnished with a stirring device to mix the mixture, the outer vessel to hold the inner vessel, and a cold-storage layer attached detachably between said inner vessel and outer vessel. CONSTITUTION:The present ice-cream freezer is composed of the inner vessel 2 receiving th ice-cream mixture and furnished with the stirring device 6 to stir the mixture, the outer vessel 3 holding the inner vessel 2, and the cold-storage layer 4 attached detachably between the inner vessel 2 and the outer vessel 3. The cold-storage layer 4 is constructed from separable plural cold-storate members 7, e.g. a cold-storage agent such as ethylene grycol filled in the bag 8 made of nylon, etc. Since the cold-storage layer 4 is composed of a plurality of separable cold-storage members 7, the members can be separated from each other and stacked in the form of a compact block, which can be cooled even in a domestic refrigerator having a small-sized freezer. Accordingly, freezing of ice- cream can be enjoyed easily even in an ordinary home.
