In a device (1) for fastening covering parts (3) or the like of plastic, hard rubber or similar materials, especially to the bodies or body parts (4) of motor vehicles, using a screw (18) and a nut (9), the covering part (3) has on its fastening side two rib-like projections (5, 6) which are at a distance from and opposite one another and are produced in one piece with the said covering part (3); between the projections (5, 6) are arranged a fastening part (8) provided with a thread, in a rotationally rigid manner, and a covering plate (11) provided with a through aperture (13) for the screw (18); and at least the projections (5, 6) and the fastening part (8) or the covering plate (11) in each case have in their transition region a recess (7, 10, 16) which extends transversely to the fastening direction, the said recesses (7, 10, 16) complementing one another and accommodating a common blocking element (17) which projects into all the recesses (7, 10, 16). <IMAGE>
