摘要 Method for centring, that is to say laterally adjusting, a glass-fibre tip (S), the so-called taper (S), onto the optically active point of an optoelectronic component (D) in a module housing (G/K) by operating the component (D) and measuring the optical coupling between the component (D) and the taper (S) as a function of the centring of the taper (S). Inside the module housing (G/K), the glass fibre (S/L) is surrounded by a protective, aligning, stiff, narrow tube (R), preferably consisting of metal. A section of the glass fibre (S/L) is fastened to the tube (R) in such a way that in the case of the first tube end (VR) which is to be directed onto the optically active point, the taper (S) at least partially still projects from the tube (R). The tube (R) is fastened to the module housing wall (G) or to a holder (ST) in the interior of the module housing (G/K) in such a way that the length of the tube section (A) which is situated between the fastening (ST) and the first tube end (VR) is a multiple of the outside diameter of this tube section (A/R). For the purpose of precise, e.g. accurate to 0.1 mu m, final centring of the taper (S) of the glass fibre axis, in the tube section (A) between the first tube end (VR) and the fastening (ST) the tube (R) is permanently deformed so strongly only at one or more points (S) of the tube wall that are near the fastening, and thus the tube section (A) is bent at these points so strongly that the coupling is at least approximately at a maximum. <IMAGE>
