PURPOSE:To arrange so that the best print quality may be obtained for every IDF by providing a pressure contact mechanism capable of variably adjusting the pressure contact force of a thermal head and a back roller, and manually or automatically regulating a lever to an optimal value for every type of IDF. CONSTITUTION:One end of a spring 4 to press a thermal head 3 against a back roller 5 is connected to a lever 8 which is axially supported by a rotary shaft 7, and the other end of the lever 8 is engaged in a latch groove of a latch board 9. Then the engagement position is changed for every different type of ink doner film IDF6, thus variably adjusting the pressure contact force. In addition, it is possible to arrange so that the manual regulation of the lever 8 may be carried out automatically by a solenoid 10. In this way, the best print quality can be obtained for every IDF. |
