PURPOSE:To allow a highly integrated circuit element to operate either rapidly or slowly in a rise/fall time, by connecting an additional capacity to the output of a combined circuit or sequential circuit, and by providing a means for enabling the connection of the capacity to be cut off if required. CONSTITUTION:Additional capacities C, composed of line-to-line distribution capacity by wiring patterns, plate capacity by electrode plates, or laminated capacity at a junction of a non-return diode for example, are connected to the base side of output transistors Q3 and Q4. In this case, the outputs of emitter- coupled transistors Q1a, Q1b, Q2 have such a waveshape that the capacities C are connected in parallel with their output resistances R1 and R2, and with a collector capacity of the transistors Q1a, Q1b and Q2 and a floating capacity Cc of the wiring pattern on the collector side. Thus, obtained is the 2-1 output waveshape A having a rise time obtained by adding the time constant R1X(Cc+C) to the rise/fall time in the intrinsic function of Q3 and Q4. When the element is operated with the connections of C cut off at the positions indicated by X, however, the rise time is obtained by adding the time constant R1XCc to the intrinsic rise/ fall time of the element, and therefore the element operates in the minimum rise/ decay time as shown by the 2-2 output waveshape B. |
