PURPOSE:To enable efficient installation and storage of stanchions, by a method wherein the stanchion provided at its bottom with wheels is runnable on rails running along a boardside, rotary discs are situated at given intervals on the rails, and rails for securing the stanchion are installed in the direction of the boardside. CONSTITUTION:A stanchion 1 provided at its bottom with wheels is located so that it is runnable on rails 2 for moving the stanchion extending along a boardside. A rotary disc 5 is located in a position on the rails for moving the stanchion, and rail bodies 6, connected to the rails 2 for moving the stanchion is mounted to the rotary disc 5. Rails 4 for securing the stanchion are installed in the direction of the boardside from a rotary disc-mounting position. This enables ree setting of the stanchion 1 when loaded as consolidated cargo, and enables the system to be stored in a lot in a storing section during non-use thereof, resulting in the possibility to ensure a passage and a working space on a deck.
