PURPOSE:To discharge the gas in a cavity thoroughly and to prevent a vent hole from being clogged, by communicating a recess formed in an inner surface of a mold with the outside of the mold via a vent hole, mounting a standing core in the recess, discharging a gas via a gap between the recess and the standing core when a cavity is filled with a resin, and allowing the remaining gas to escape along with the excess resin to the gap between the standing core and the recess. CONSTITUTION:First, molds 1, 2 are opened, and a standing core 5 is placed in a recess 4 in the upper mold 1. Thus, a gap 41 in communication with a vent hole 11 is formed between the inner circumferential surface of the recess 4 and the outer circumferential surface of the standing core 5. Then the molds 1, 2 are closed, and a urethane resin or the like is loaded into the cavity 3 from a gate. The gas in the cavity is discharged through the gap 41 and the hole 11 into the outside of the mold. When the gas is discharged thoroughly, although the excess resin also infiltrate into the gap 41, since the gap between the hole 11 and an ejector pin 6 is set such that the resin cannot invade into the gap, the resin would not go to the hole 11. |
