CONTROL SIGNAL DUPLICATING METHOD OF LINE PROTECTION SWITCH

PURPOSE:To execute the switching operation of a main signal without hindrance by duplicating a control signal of a line protection switch to transmit is thereby transmitting the control signal through other line even if a fault takes place in either of the lines. CONSTITUTION:If a faulty state such as interruption of signal or out of synchronism takes place in the unidirectional or bidirectional transmission of the #1 line because of a fault or the like, the control signal of the line protection switches 1 and 5 is not transmitted unidirectionally or bidirectionally. A fault alarm is given to a control section 6 of the line protection switch 1 from a terminal station equipment 2 to a control section 23 of the line protection switch 5 in this case. Thus, the control sections 6 and 23 change over switches 25 and 24 to attain mutual communication between the line protection switches 1 and 5 by using a control signal transmitted from multiplex separating circuits 13 and 20 in the stand-by state.
