PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform simultaneous different-color painting in both side surfaces of a hanger having an article to be painted attached thereto, by forming a hanger from a first hanger part and a second hanger part and interposing an insulating wall between both hanger parts. CONSTITUTION:Paints having mutually different colors are sprayed to articles W to be painted such as car parts, which were respectively attached to the first hanger part 12 and second hanger part 13 of the hanger 11 conveyed so as to be held to a rail 3 in a suspended state, from spray guns 5a, 6a. Whereupon, the paints respectively emitted from the sprayguns 5a, 6a are deposited only to the desired articles W to be painted, all of which are opposed, by the insulating wall 15 positioned between both hanger parts 12, 13 without being deposited to the articles W to be painted in the side crossing over the insulating wall 15. Furthermore, a screen wall having relatively electrically opposite polarity to the articles W to be painted may be provided.
