PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform sufficient granulation and coating by making it possible to impart rotation and revolution to a large amount of a stock powder or particulate, in a method for fluidized bed granulation of a drug or the like, by providing an inclined plate to a rotary plate having air passing perforations. CONSTITUTION:A stock powder is converted to a revolving stream by the air stream supplied from an air feed pipe 9 through air passing perforations of a rotary plate 4 and the centrifugal force of said rotary plate 4 and rotated and revolved to be subjected to granulation or coating. Herein, by providing inclined plates 8, each of which extends to an obliquely upward direction so as to be directed to the direction opposite to the rotation of the rotary plate 4, to the surface of the rotary plate 4, the revolving powder receives motion rising and subsequently falling along the inclined plates and not only tumbling is promoted still more and granulation is accelerated but also a granule having high sphericity is obtained. Because the upper and lower parts of the powder are changed over by the function of the inclined plates, the entire powder moves in a revolving stream even if the stock powder is charged in an amount 4 times or more that in a conventional apparatus and granulation or coating is sufficiently performed.
