PURPOSE:To keep a satisfactory contact between a magnetic head and a magnetic sheet for a long period of time and to improve both reliability and mass productivity of a rotary magnetic sheet device, by forming a surface which presses the magnetic sheet at the upstream side in the revolving direction of the magnetic sheet together with a surface having a prescribed inclination formed at the downstream side respectively. CONSTITUTION:A surface 6a parallel to the revolving surface of a magnetic sheet 3 is formed at the upstream side in the revolving direction of the sheet 3 of a pad 6 together with surfaces 6b and 6c tilted rectangularly to a straight line connecting a magnetic head 4 and the rotary center of the sheet 3 formed at the downstream side respectively. When the sheet 3 is revolved toward an arrow head B, a stable air film is generated between the sheet 3 and surfaces 6a and 6b respectively. Then the sheet 3 is formed into a saddle-shape at a place near the head 4. Thus the sheet 3 has a satisfactory contact with the head 4. |
