摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To make the fingers of a robot reach a desired position quickly and exactly without making a teaching device heavy and complicated, by providing a manual data input function key which can designate numerically a moving extent of a robot moving axis. CONSTITUTION:In case a teaching work is ended by advancing an X axis by 1m, an operator decides whether a manual data input (MDI) command is executed or not. 1m is a large value, therefore, when it is considered to execute manually a movement, a robot is moved to 10cm before a target position by selecting a speed by a speed selecting key 49 without depressing an MDI key 57, and depressing an axis moving key 45. Subsequently, the operator can select the key 57. When an executing key 51 is depressed after designating 8mm. by a ten-key part 39, the X axis advances by 8mm.. Positioning is completed by determining the remaining 2mm. by an inching operation. In this case, when 2mm. can be set numerically and exactly, the robot is moved by an MDI function.</p>
