PURPOSE:To improve heat exchanging efficiency by exchanging the heat of indoor air with a bent heat exchanger uniformly and permit to blow off the air into three directions by a method wherein the middle part of the bent heat exchanger, arranged in continuous with the terminal end of a scroll plate, is closed to a centrifugal type fan. CONSTITUTION:Air stream, discharged out of the centrifugal type fan 12, is guided forcibly to the front part 13b of the heat exchanger 13 by arranging the right side part 13a of the heat exchanger 13 along the extending line 15 of the scroll to serve the right side part 13a as the extension of the scroll plate 5. A long and slender small blow-off space 21 is secured between the extending line 15 of the scroll and the right side part 13a of the heat exchanger 13 while large blow-off spaces 22, 23 are formed by dividing remaining space into two divisions by the centrifugal type fan 12 and the middle part 18 closed to the fan 12. According to this method, the heat of the indoor air is exchanged with the heat exchanger uniformly in spite of the short depth of the unit, the air, whose heat is exchanged, is blown off into three directions and the uniform air-conditioning of the inside of a room may be effected. |
