<p>PURPOSE:To increase an input speed at the time of an insertion and a correction, etc., to suppress a flicker on a display picture, and to improve an operability by controlling a dynamic editing redisplay range at the time of an insertion and a correction, etc. of a document by making a line a unit. CONSTITUTION:An editing redisplay control part 12 starts editing when a data is inputted to an input buffer 11. Editing is executed by making a line a unit through the first line management table 14 and the second line management table 16, etc., an overflow character string is eliminated, the editing is ended when a line position fetched from the first document buffer 15 and a line position copied to the second document buffer 17 become equal. Subsequently, the table 16 extending from the editing start line to the end and the buffer 17 are written back to the same relative position of the table 14 and the buffer 15, respectively, and a document of a range written back to the buffer 15 is displayed on a display part 18. In this way, by controlling an editing redisplay range so as to become the minimum by making a line a unit, an input speed of an insertion, a correction, etc. is increased, also a flicker on the display picture is suppressed to the utmost, and an operability can be improved.</p> |
