<p>PURPOSE:To reduce heat loss as well as maintenance charge by a method wherein the water heater is controlled so as to heat up only the proper amount of hot- water based on the preset amount of hot-water used in tomorrow, a supplying water temperature and the condition of remaining hot-water in a hot-water reserving tank. CONSTITUTION:A flow amount sensor 8 detects the amount of hot-water used in the day. A requested heat amount operating unit 20 operates the requested heat amount KI necessary for the hot-water reserving tank 1 from the input value of a hot-water amount setter 14 inputted by an user and the detecting value TW deg.C of a supplying water temperature sensor 12. A remaining hot-water amount operating unit 21 operates the amount of remaining hot-water in the tank 1 as a heat amount from the detecting value TW deg.C, the detecting value TZ deg.C of an upper temperature sensor 13 and the detecting value VU of the flow amount sensor 8. A necessary conduction time operating unit 24 operates the necessary operating times of the heater 11 and a pump 10 for reserving the amount V0 of hot- water of temperature TO deg.C. A conduction control unit 17 controls the conduction and stop of the heating body 2 and the pump 10 based on the result of operations.</p> |
