<p>A method or apparatus for generating gas bubbles of relatively small and uniform size in a liquid medium utilises at least one rotatable member free of fins, blades or other mixing projections, e.g., in the shape of a disc or ring 16, which is rotated in a liquid medium at an edge velocity of at least 80 feet per second. A source of gas or some other fluid phase is provided proximate to the rotatable circular members to form the bubbles.</p> |
