PURPOSE:To reduce the weight and size of an optical flexible circuit while increasing the density of the circuit wiring patterns by forming the patterns with optical fiber cables. CONSTITUTION:The required number of optical fiber cables 2 are fixed on a flexible base 1 with an adhesive 3 so as to form necessary circuit wiring patterns. A resin film such as a polyester film or a polyimide film or metallic foil such as Al foil is used as the flexible base 1. The patterns are formed well even at the crossed parts 4, 5, and an optical flexible circuit of considerably high density can be manufactured. The flexible base 1 may be coated with the adhesive 3 so as to join the cables 2 to the base 1. |
