PURPOSE:To perform complicate bending of horizontal direction by protruding a pair of guide pins from a connecting plate used for supporting bending rolls and rocking the plate clockwise or anticlockwise by sliding the guide pins along cam grooves. CONSTITUTION:A base material of molding obtained by bending a flat steel sheet into a desired cross-sectional shape by a cold roll-forming machine 1, is sent to a bending device 3 through a retaining device 2. The device 3 is provided with a pair of bending rolls 31, 32 whose axes 33, 34 are supported, capably of freely idle running, by a connecting plate 40. Guide pins protruded from the plate 40 slide along a cam groove 51, 52 by the cylinders 60a, 60b, etc. of a driving device 60 through a bearing 43. The rolls 31, 32 are rocked by the command of a detector 4, used for detecting the feed length of base material, through the roll axes 33, 34 to bend the material into a S-shape, and moreover the complicated horizontal bending capable of changing a bending curvature on the way of bending is easily performed. |
