PURPOSE:To secure smooth rotation in a rotor, by rotating the rotor as long as the specified time of an initial stage of engine starting with an electric motor, in case of a supercharger inclusive of the rotor having a lot of gas passages piercing through a turning axial direction. CONSTITUTION:When a key switch 32 is closed to start an engine 1, a relay 34 is closed by output of a timer 33, and a solenoid clutch 27 is set in engagement, while a motor 28 is diven, rotating a rotor 15. If so, suction air flows into a gas passage 16 from a suction passage 22 and then discharged to a supercharging passage 9 when the said passage 16 opens to a suction discharge port 20, thus the suction air is led into a combustion chamber 12 from a suction port 5. On the other hand, exhaust is discharged to an exhasut passge 21 from an exhaust port 6 by way of each of routes 10-17-16-18. And, after the engine 1 is made into a complete explosion and a contact 32a of the key switch 32 is opened, when the specified period of time elapses, the output of the timer 33 comes to nothing, making the solenoid clutch 27 into disengagement, thus the motor 28 is stopped. |
