摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To obtain a desired crown % all through the rolling by controlling the flow rate of spray in the width direction of a roll coolant, depending on the profile of a rolling roll at the beginning of rolling and the measured sheet crown, in spraying the coolant. CONSTITUTION:A roll-cooling-pattern computing output-device 4 inputs the detecting signals 71-7n of detectors 41-4n, excutive bending forces 61-6n, and pulse oscillators 11a-1na. And a thermal crown based on the thermo-engineering of rolling, is calculated by subtracting the variations, caused by the influences of each of the inputted items on the cross-sectional shape of a sheet, from the output of a sheet cross-section arithmetic unit 3. Further, the flow rate of spraying coolant corresponding to the quantity of crown, in the barrel direction of rolling roll, obtained by subtracting a target sheet crown from it, is used to calculate the flow rate patterns of the cooling sprays 81-8n, 91-9n of rolling rolls 11- 1n, based on the heat transfer coefficient between the roll cooling and the roll. The cooling sprays 81-8n, 91-9n are controllingly sprayed based on the flow rate patterns.</p>
