PURPOSE:To make it possible to provide a suitable engine brake force in either of high speed running and low speed running, by releasing the operation of an actuator in accordance with speed change into in a low vehicle speed range which is larger than a predertermined speed ratio, upon selection for Ds range so that the rotational speed of the engine is lowered. CONSTITUTION:If Ds range is selected in a low vehicle speed range having a speed change ratio greater than a set speed change ratio, a sensor shoe 65 and a piston hook section 105 of an actuator 100 is coupled together for associating operation thereof by means of a compensating lever 113. Further as the speed change ratio is increased, a piston 102 is largely pulled back to release the operation of the actuator 100 so that the load of springs 74, 77 in a speed change ratio control valve 70 are gradually lowered, accordingly. Thus, a speed shift curve for opening an accelerator, is compensated to lower the rotational speed of an engine in accordance with increases in the speed change ratio. |
