PURPOSE:To make evaporated fuel purge to an exhaust system of an engine and entirely eliminate the effect of the fuel-air ratio of the intake mixture by connecting a purge passage extended from a canister to the exhaust port of the engine. CONSTITUTION:A canister 6 is disposed on the back of an air cleaner 3 to adsorb the evaporated fuel introduced from a fuel tank on the top side of a vehicle through a charge passage 5. A purge passage 7 extended from the canister 6 is connected to exhaust ports 1c of all cylinders 1a of an engine 1 through a distributor 8. In the distributor 8 reed valves 9 to block the reverse flow of the exhaust gas from the side of all exhaust ports 1c are installed. By this construction, during the operation of the engine 1 the reed valves 9 are opened by the negative suction pressure due to the exhaust flow in each exhaust port and acting to the purge circuit 7 and the fuel adsorbed to the canister 6 is purged into each exhaust port 1c. |
