PURPOSE:To improve inexpensively the surface slip characteristics of a rubbery elastomer, by forming a high-slip material layer in which short fibers are dispersed on the sliding surface of a rubbery elastomer comprising rubber, synthetic resin or the like. CONSTITUTION:A high-slip material layer in which short fibers (e.g., cotton yarn or polyamide fiber) are dispersed is formed on the sliding surface of a rubbery elastomer, such as rubber or a synthetic resin, in elastic contact with, for example, a vehicle window glass. An example of the method for forming the high- slip material layer consists in dispersing a high-slip material powder (e.g., finely powdered tetrafluoroethylene resin or molybdenum disulfide) in a binder, further dispersing short fibers in the binder and coating the surface of a rubbery elastomer with the dispersion. In this way, no large-scale equipment is necessary, and the working can be performed simply and quickly and, therefore, the surface slip of a rubbery elastomer can be improved inexpensively. |
