PURPOSE:To reduce the damage of a lamp and make a washer liquid sprayed over the whole lens surface by providing a protector which guards the fromt face of said lamp and providing a nozzle on this protector, in an illuminating device of a car having a lamp wiper. CONSTITUTION:When a retractable head lamp 6 is used, a motor 2 is driven, to move a link mechanism 5, projecting the lamp 6 out of a car body. When the lamp 6 is not in use, it is housed in the car body, reducing air resistance when the car is traveling, while improving the apperance of the car body. A lens 10 and a wiper blade 16 are infrequently damaged by a small stone, etc., which is sprung up when the car is traveling, being protected by a protector 18. To remove dust, etc., which was deposited on the face of the lens 10, a washer liquid is uniformly sprayed onto the lens face from the nozzles 25 of the protector bar 18, and the wiper blade 16 is made slide along the lens face, thereby, flushingly removing any deposit on the whole lens surface. |
