PURPOSE:To obtain the meshed sheet useful for reinforcing paper, having a uniform meshing and no twisting or rising up at expanded width by a method in which a plurality of slits are formed in parallel mutually on a synthetic resin film and said slits are expanded into mesh shape, drawing the film in the direction nearly the same as the slit-direction. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic resin film 1 is supplied into between the slitter roller 4 having a plurality of edges 3 on its peripheral surface and a rider roller 5, thereby forming in parallel mutually a plurality of slits 2 having the pattern with specified arrangment on the synthetic resin film 1. Then this film is drawn in the direction nearly the same as the slit direction, whereby the slits are expanded and meshes 6 are formed. Thus, the desired net like sheet 7 may be obtained. Further, the band parts 1a, 1b of the film surrounding these meshes 6 are only drawn narrowly and lengthwise, and so the meshes 6 have no deformation, twisting or inclination and are, uniformly arranged shapes. |
