PURPOSE:To print at a high speed by a high-density head, by a method wherein a solid ink once melted in a heating ink tank and applied to an ink roller while controlling the thickness thereof by a doctor blade is adhered to a paper through a guide hole provided in a mask plate. CONSTITUTION:Electric discharge is effected in the direction from a discharge electrode 12a of a discharge head 12 to the ink roller 8, and a discharge arc 21 is caused to reach a thin ink film 6b through the guide hole 10a. The mask plate 10 and the ink roller 8 are provided in proximity to each other, scattered ink particles 6c are guided by the guide hole 10a, and are adhered to a paper 15 fitted on a paper-feeding roller 13. |
