Tennis racquet comprised of a frame(2) equipped with holes (4, 5) for strings (3). According to the invention there is a slide bar (6) on the exterior of the frame (2) between each pair of holes (4, 5), through which a string (3) runs and turns in the frame (2). Each slide bar (6) has a mainly flat under surface (7) designed to lie against the frame (2) and a bowed upper surface (8) equipped with a track (9, 10, 11) for the said string (3). Each slide bar (6) has a length exceeding the smallest measurement between the holes (4, 5) in a pair of holes. Through the invention the area of the racquets so-called "sweet spot" is increased.<IMAGE> |
