<p>PURPOSE:To obtain favorable arrangement for connecting a power transmission member to front and rear wheels and save space by placing a differential gear betweem a power unit and a seat or a fuel tank. CONSTITUTION:A motor tricycle buggy VC has one front wheel Wf and two rear wheels Wr1 and Wr2. A power unit P is installed within a loop formed by a down tube 3, which extends down from a head pipe HP, a bottom frame 4, and a center frame 5. A fuel tank 7 is mounted astride a main frame 6, which is positioned above the power unit P, and a seat 8 is installed behind the fuel tank 7. A case 10, in which a bevel-gear type differential gear 9 is installed, is placed in a space between the unit P and the seat 8 or the fuel tank 7, and fixed to the main frame 6 and the center frame 5 with bolts 12, through a supporting member 11 which projects out up and down. The final output shaft 14 of the differential gear 9 is connected to a shaft drive 19.</p> |
