EXAMPLE:2-(1-Naphthalenylseleno)cyclohexanecarbonitrile. USE:Useful as an intermediate for synthesizing an organoselenium compound and unsaturated nitrile compound. A reagent for adding nucleophilically a CN group to an alkene, reacting almost quantitatively. PREPARATION:An alkene shown by the formula V is reacted with 1- or 2- naphthalenylseleno cyanate shown by the formula VI or formula VII in the presence of a Lewis acid catalyst, to give a compound shown by the formula I and a compound shown by the formula II. |
