PURPOSE:To control constant voltage/speed ratio even in a transient state by constructing to limit the armature current of a synchronous motor by the current limit corresponding to the amplitude of the differential voltage between the actually induced voltage and the induced voltage to be expected. CONSTITUTION:The differential voltage signal of the actually induced voltage and the induced voltage to be expected of a synchronous motor 12 is inputted to a function generator 20, which generates a function output having a drooping characteristic for the increase in the input. This function output is supplied as a current limit command signal to a speed controller 5. Constant voltage/ speed ratio control can be performed even at transient phenomenon time by suitably diciding the drooping characteristic of the function output. |
