Medical bandaging material comprising a compressed, porous polyurethane foam (1), a nonwoven layer (2) which is stretchable in any direction and rests against one of the surfaces of the polyurethane foam, and a porous adhesive mass (3) which covers the nonwoven layer (2) and penetrates over part of the thickness of the polyurethane foam (1). The bandaging material is especially used in the field of adhesive plasters.
