PURPOSE:To analyze the relation of inclusion between objects of binary picture representation, presence of a hole and contact with a picture frame boundary by using an adjacent 0 value label and a boundary flag in addition to an adjacent 1 value label. CONSTITUTION:From a scanning section 1, x, y coordinate outputs of a picture element during scanning at present are inputted to an input/output section 2, the outputs are converted into an address to a picture memory 3 and a picture element value is read. The picture element value decides the label and boundary flag of the picture element during scanning at present by a label deciding section 4. The label deciding section 4 writing the label to the x, y position of the picture memory 3 in the input/output section 2 performs registration and correction of the binary picture element, the adjacent 0 value label, the adjacent 1 value label and the boundary flag of the adjacent table 5 in the required processing. The decided label is fed further to an accumulating operation section 6, where a prescribed operation is applied to the coordinate value from the scanning section 1 and added to the accumulated value stored in an address of an accumulation memory represented by the label from the label deciding section 4. |
