PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of a power supply by controlling an output voltage to constant by a voltage drop caused by a switching transistor connected between an input terminal and an output terminal of the negative side. CONSTITUTION:A DC power supply voltage VI is inputted to a pair of input terminals I1, I2, and a voltage Vo which has passed through a stabilizing circuit and the result is supplied to a load L connected to output terminals O1, O2. In this case, between the negative side input terminal I2 and the negative side output terminal O2 of the stabilizing circuit, a switching transistor Q1 to which a resistance R1 is connected between the collector and the base is connected, and the input and the output terminals of the positive side are connected by a lead wire. In such a way, in accordance with a current amplification factor of a controlling transistor Q2, a power loss caused by a Zener diode ZD1 can also be reduced, and the efficiency of a power supply can be improved. |
