PURPOSE:To prevent or suppress occurrence of black bands on pictures, blank failure memories, etc. by using materials, where gas generated from a plasticizer or the other additives is not adsorbed chemically and physically to the surface of an image carrier, as materials constituting a magnet roll. CONSTITUTION:A waste toner 2 remaining on the surface of a photosensitive drum 7 is scraped by a blade 5 and is attracted by the magnetic force of a magnet roll 1 and is gathered on the surface. The toner is gathered to the side of a spring roll 4 by a projecting part of a casing 3 and is sent out to a waste toner vessel. In production of the magnet roll, it is better to use a chlorinated paraffin as a coupling agent for preventing occurrence of black bands than a titanate. The other mixtures such as additives, a lubricant, a stabilizer, etc. are selected in consideration of materials of the used toner. |
