USE:A disperse dye for dyeing synthetic fibers, especially polyester fibers in red with improved fastness to sublimation, water and washing. PREPARATION:2-Amino-5-bromo-1,3,4-thiadiazole is diazotized with nitrosylsulfuric acid, the prepared diazo compound is coupled with a coupling component of an arylamine shown by the formula III.
