PURPOSE:To raise the efficiency of a brushless motor by connecting two sets of 2-phase armature coils in series, thereby suppressing a current which does not contribute to the generation of a torque. CONSTITUTION:The opening angle of conductors effective for torques of sector coils 6a-6d are 60 deg., which is the same as the width of the field pole. Armature coils 6a, 6c are mounted in space of 180 deg., and armature coils 6b, 6d are mounted in space of 180 deg.. The coils 6a, 6c and 6b, 6d are displayed and disposed at 90 deg. of mechanical angle and 270 deg. of electric angle. Hall elements 4a, 4b are provided at the center of the coils 6a, 6b. The 2-phase armature coils 6a, 6c and 6b, 6d are connected in series. |
