The two thin plates (B2)- carrying rows of transparent X and Y electrode strips - are positioned on top of the LCD panel. The system control processor feeds display data to the display panel via control logic and interrogates the stylus position sensing electrodes via another logic circuit. - The processor has access to a ROM for program data and to a RAM for temporary data storage. The processor is linked to a central display generating computer system via an input/output interface.
