PURPOSE:To eliminate occurrence of kinky thread, formation of bad package, malfunction of slab catcher, etc., by opening an aperture of a slack tube simultaneously with knotting operation or just before it occurs, keeping the aperture closed until it occurs. CONSTITUTION:After a slack tube is closed, a suction mouth to suck yarn end at the package side is raised, and a connecting pipe to suck yarn end at the spinning side sucks the yarn end at the spinning side and dropped. The yarn end at the package side and the yarn end at the spinning side are introduced by a knotter, and both the yarn ends are introduced into the knotter by the thread handler guide of the knotter. Then, knotting is carried out, closing of the slack tube is released simultaneously with knotting or just before it is done, and the thread handler guide is restored to the original position after the knotting is over. |
