PURPOSE:To cut a work, by controlling a moving path centering on a tip center of a forming spring tool of one cross section form in a machining form with three-dimensional feed, while controlling a turning angle which centers an axis passing the tip center. CONSTITUTION:An X- and Y-axis feed mechanism 4 is installed in the lower part of a column 3 while a Z-axis feed mechanism 7 in the upper part, respectively, while a cutting tool 2 is fed in a Z-axis direction. On the basis of numerical control information given, a numerical control system 12 drives each of X-, Y- and Z-axes of a machine and a rotation axis of a tool spindle 10, moving a work 1 and the tool 2 relatively in a three-dimensional direction, and thus machines the work. |
