The transfer nozzle is comprised of a nozzle body with a discoid cylindrical medial part (21) and two axial nozzle cones (22, 23). The nozzle cones (22, 23) are each surrounded on a portion of their height by a sleeve-shaped collar (25, 26); a plurality of axial passage openings (25-28) are provided in the collars. A radial passage opening (30) provided through the medial part (21) is intended to receive a heating cartridge. The nozzle body (21, 22, 23) bears by means of outermost parts of both collars (25, 26), on one hand in the support basket (2) and on the other hand in the mould part (5), so that only a small amount of heat is lost at the cooled machine parts. The hollow cavity (11) of the nozzle forms an air cushion around the medial part (21) which optionally act as a heat insulation. Such a transfer nozzle has a reduced height and is capable of keeping hot the injection material from the inside to the outside; the axial arrangement of the two nozzle cones enables to eject the material at each injection process while considerably facilitating the maintenance. |
