PURPOSE:To make it possible to use the titled exhaust top in boilers of kinds in which the temperatures of exhaust gases are different from each other by slidably providing an external air suction preventive lid which changes the opening area of a suction and an exhaust port at the main body cylinder. CONSTITUTION:An inverse-cup shaped lid 7 is provided at the upper part of a flue 6, and the main body cylinder 8 secured to the flue 6 is provided at its peripheral wall with a large number of sction and exhaust ports 9. A guide cylinder 10 is set on the inner side of the peripheral wall of the main body cylinder 8, and a movable cylinder 11 which is used as an external air suction preventive lid which changes the total opening area of each suction and exhaust port 9 is internally fitted in the guide cylinder 10 in a lifting and lowering manner. The exhaust gas of high temperature flows upwardly of the flue 6, and changes its exhaust gas by the lid 7, mixing with external air A sucked up through the lower suction port 9 and lowering the temperature thereof, and discharged through the upper exhaust port 9. When the movable cylinder 11 is moved upwardly, a part of suction and exhaust port 9 is closed and the total opening area is decreased, and the quantity of the external air is decreased and the exhaust gas temperature is raised. Thus, it is made possible to simply adjust the temperature of the exhaust gas to discharge it outside, and also to adjust the quantity of the exhaust gas. For this reason, the same exhaust top can be used in boilers regardless of environmental change and kind of boiler. |
