PURPOSE:The titled apparatus having a long distance between an end feeding part and an unwinding and reeling part and a titled plate between a cocoon feeding part and the unwinding and reeling part or a cylinder at a specific position below the titled plate respectively, and capable of easy monitoring of reeled cocoons, preventing reeling trouble and giving raw silk without deviation in fineness. CONSTITUTION:An apparatus for monitoring having a long distance between an end feeding part and an unwinding and reeling part 3 by lowering the position of the unwinding and reeling part 3, a titled plate 2 between a cocoon feeder 4'' and the unwinding and reeling part 3 and further a cylinder 1 positioned below the lower end of titled plate 2 and above the unwinding and reeling part 3. Cocoons with picked ends are then dropped on the titled plate 2 to go over the cylinder 1 and reach the unwinding and reeling part 3, and the resultant cocoons 4 are dispersed in the row to carry out the monitoring with ease.
