PURPOSE:To obtain a laminated film suitable for magnetic head having a high permeability and high saturation magnetic flux density by laminating a material having a low permeability and high saturation magnetic flux density and an antiferromagnetic material. CONSTITUTION:As a material having high saturation magnetic flux density material which becomes the main material, FeSiRu alloy is used and as an antiferromagnetic material which will become an intermediate film, FeMn alloy is used. In case the intermediate film is as thin as -20Angstrom or less, it can little show its effect and has a low permeability as in the case of the SiRu alloy film. Effect of lamination can be obtained in the thickness of several 10Angstrom or less. The adequate thickness of high saturation magnetic flux density is 0.05-0.5mum, while that of intermediate layer is 20Angstrom -0.1mum. As the material having high saturation magnetic flux density, NiFeCo system, FeGe system, FeTi system, CoFe system, FeN system crystal alloy or CoZr system amorphous alloy can also be used.
