PURPOSE:To obtain high dust prevention of a magnetic tape and to protect it completely at the time of no use by positioning a notched part of a tape supporting body where a tape pulling-out member is inserted at the opposite side of an opening of a cassette case. CONSTITUTION:A tape supporting body 2 to support a magnetic tape 23 rotatably is inserted from an opening of a cassette case 1 and contained at the time of no use. A notched part 17 into which a loading pole is inserted is formed on the body 2 at the opposite position of an opening of the case 1. At the time of use, after the supporting body has been shifted to the prescribed position by a slide plate, it drops, a loading pole is inserted into the notched part 17, and loading is carried out. Thus when the tape supporting body 2 is contained in the case 1, the tape 23 is positioned in the most inner part; therefore high dust prevention and complete tape protection can be obtained.
