PURPOSE:To increase transmission torque and to facilitate assembling by forming a transmission piece of a V-belt device like a frame, which comprises two substantially U-shaped pieces. CONSTITUTION:A transmission piece 6 of a V-belt device fitted in a V-belt pulley 12 is formed like a frame, and the transmission piece 6 comprises two substantially U-shaped pieces 61, 62. Thus, a compressive force orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of an endless belt is received by the base and the top side of the transmission piece 6, so that buckling strength is considerably enhanced to increase transmission torque. The pieces 61, 62 are fitted on pivotal projections 3b from both sides of a spanning member and pins are put thereto to fix the transmission piece. Thus, an assembling work can be facilitated. |
