PURPOSE:To reduce the whole construction term of a hull by constructing the upper part of a bow from three blocks including a deck and outer plates and forming a bow block including a chain locker by joining each block and joining said block onto a hull part after the installation of fittings. CONSTITUTION:The upper part of a bow is constituted of three blocks of a front-part small block 11, rear-part small block 12, and a lower-part small block 13. The front-part small block 11 is constituted of a forecastle deck 14 and an outer plate 16 having a pipe-hose opening 15, and the rear-part small block 12 is constituted of a forecastle deck 18 onto which the upper part of a chain locker 16 is fixed and an outer plate 19, and the lower-part small block 13 is constituted of an upper deck 20 onto which the lower part of the chain locker 16 is fixed and an outer plate 21. Each small block 11-13 is joined, and after the necessary fittings are installed, the blocks are mounted and joined onto the hull part under construction on a ship building birth. Therefore, the whole construction term of the hull can be reduced.
