<p>This device for adjusting the position of the return pulley of a belt sanding machine with respect to the driving pulley and for maintaining the abrasive belt (27) under constant tension essentially comprises a support arm (3), for example a rectangular section, one end of which is integrally connected to an orientable clamping collar (2) about the driving axle (1), and the other end of which is integrally connected to a pivoting plate (18) forming a bearing for the axle (17) of the return pulley (15), in which arm is anchored the rod of a gas-operated thruster (5) integrally connected to a rail (8), for example with a U-profile, sliding on a ball-mounted idle roller (12) fixed in the arm in order to transmit its thrust to the plate (18) and the axle (17) in order to keep the belt (27) tensioned. A knurled screw (20) is provided on the end of the rail (8) in order to act on the plate (18) with a view to lateral adjustment of the return pulley (15). <IMAGE></p> |
