PURPOSE:To increase conductivity, bonding ability, and durability and suppress gas leak by using silver coated nickel flake paste to bond and fix electrodes to a container. CONSTITUTION:Electrodes 1 and 2 are bonded to a container 4 using adhesive paste prepared by dispersing silver coated nickel flakes in 3wt% ethanol solution of polyvinyl butyral. The silver coated nickel flake is coated with silver in a thickness of 10mum and its particle size is 400 mesh. This cell eliminates penetration of electrolyte from the contact part of electrodes with the container to the gas side and leak of gas of the electrolyte side and shows good current-voltage performance. |
